About Greeters

Do you have a heart for making people feel seen, welcomed, and valued? The Greeters Team exists to create a warm and inviting environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Whether someone is attending for the first time or has been part of our church family for years, our goal is to make every encounter meaningful.

We want each person who enters to feel seen, valued, and cared for — and to easily find the help they need. A warm welcome can set the tone for someone’s entire worship experience and help them feel connected from the very start.

How We Do It
This is accomplished through simple yet powerful actions: offering a warm smile, a friendly handshake or fist bump, and a genuine readiness to answer questions or guide guests to their destination. Greeters help bridge the gap between new faces and familiar ones, making sure no one feels unseen or uncertain.

This happens through simple yet powerful actions: offering a warm smile, a friendly handshake or fist bump, and a genuine readiness to answer questions or guide guests to their destination. Greeters help bridge the gap between new faces and familiar ones, ensuring no one feels unseen or uncertain.

We have greeters stationed throughout the church — from the front doors to the sanctuary — and each position plays a purposeful role in creating a welcoming experience for every guest and member.

No special experience is needed — just a friendly attitude and a servant’s heart. We’ll make sure you’re fully equipped and confident in your role.

Ready to serve?  We’d love for you to shadow a greeter on Sunday and help us make each Sunday you serve someone’s best first impression.
